EmpowerHER Widows Network was created from that place. A place of honesty, healing, and learning how to keep going.

This movement was born from grief, but also from deep, enduring love. Alvin wasn’t just my husband— he was my encourager, protector, and the one who always believed in my gift to write, create, and uplift others.

He pushed me to share my voice with the world over 20 years ago. Losing him broke my heart... but it also ignited a purpose I can no longer ignore.
